This boat share program allows you unlimited access to boats at our five locations on Lake Winnipesaukee, Ossipee Lake, Lake Sunapee, Sebago Lake, and Smith Mountain Lake. What is a boat club?
Carefree Boat Club at Goodhue Boat Company is a private club. This means that our boats are only available to Members. We do not rent or charter our boat club fleet.
Is it truly unlimited?
Yes! Members have true unlimited access to boats. You can boat as much as you'd like.
Do age restrictions apply?
Passengers of all ages are welcome to ride in a Boat Club boat, however, the operator must be an approved member and 25 years old or older.
How does the training work?
All members get as much training as they need on and off the water. On the water training is done with an instructor. Training covers Carefree Boat Club processes, general navigation, docking, and safety.
How soon can i get on the water?
After joining, new members (even without boating experience) can typically be boating within days of joining. If you have previous boat training,you can be on the water even sooner.
How often are the boats serviced and replaced?
All boats in the Boat Club fleet are serviced at regular intervals based on engine hours of use. All recommended services will be completed as outlined by the manufacturers. Boat Club boats are also inspected weekly by dock staff.
